Melissa Stemen, NP
Melissa Stemen, NP, is a primary care nurse practitioner who provides preventive and chronic care for men, women and children of all ages. She also treats various acute illnesses. Prior to joining Lutheran Health Physicians, Stemen worked for Lutheran Hospital as a registered nurse in various settings including radiology and emergency care. She also has experience assisting in outpatient endoscopy procedures.
Stemen earned both an associate degree and bachelor's degree in nursing from Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne, before receiving a master's degree, family nurse practitioner, from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She is a member of the Coalition of Advanced Practice Nurses of Northeast Indiana and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
