Mark Delbello, MD

Mark DelBello, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in preventing, diagnosing and treating nonsurgical conditions and diseases in adult patients. He has special interest in diabetes, geriatrics and promoting quality of life care.

Dr. DelBello graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in biology from Fordham University in New York before earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed an internal medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine and a nephrology fellowship at Methodist Hospital, both in Indianapolis.

Dr. DelBello brings over 25 years of internal medicine practice to Lutheran Health Physicians, including his most recent role as an independent physician at Dupont Internal Medicine in Fort Wayne. Board certified in internal medicine, nephrology and obesity medicine, Dr. DelBello also serves as a certified diabetes educator and wound specialist.

Dr. DelBello has contributed to several publications including authoring three books, which cover topics regarding obesity medicine, testosterone and CBD. In his spare time, he is an avid runner who has completed seven Boston Marathons and six Pike's Peak Marathons.
