Keith Derickson, MD, who is board certified in family medicine, joined Lutheran Health Physicians in July 2013. A Fort Wayne native, Dr. Derickson received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in chemistry from Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne in 2006. He earned a medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis in 2010, and completed his residency in family medicine at the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program in June 2013. He served as co-chief resident at FWMEP his third year. Dr. Derickson served on numerous committees during his residency, including the Lutheran Hospital cardiovascular surgery and cardiology committee, the St. Joseph Hospital medical ethics committee and physician leadership group and the FWMEP performance improvement and quality assurance and graduate medical education committees. Dr. Derickson is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Indiana State Medical Association and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
