Ibad Farooqui, MD, joined the family medicine team at Lutheran Health Physicians in August 2016. Prior to joining LHP, he served as chief resident for the family medicine residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker MD School of Medicine. He was also a clinical instructor at both Western Michigan University and Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Farooqui received his bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario, London, Ontario, and his doctor of medicine degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Dutch Caribbean. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and presented at the AAFP national conference in 2015.
