Austin Schlie, DO
Austin Schlie, DO, a board-certified family medicine physician, joined Lutheran Health Physicians in August 2012. Dr. Schlie practices in Leo, Indiana. A native of Grabill, Indiana, Dr. Schlie graduated from the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, Family Medicine Residency in June 2012. Dr. Schlie earned a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine-Midwestern University in Phoenix in 2009. He graduated magna cum laude from Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Ind., in 2003, with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in biology. Dr. Schlie has published and presented extensively. During his FWMEP residency, Dr. Schlie spent two years working as a research assistant in Fort Wayne, where he assisted in the design of multiple studies and conducted and drafted papers for publication and presentation. Dr. Schlie is a member of the American Osteopathic Association, the American Medical Society, the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Fort Wayne Medical Society.
